When the Lakers scooped up Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, they were supposed to be living on easy street.
But things didn't turn out exactly how they planned.
After losing their first 8 games in the preseason, they started this regular season by losing to the Mavericks and then the Trail Blazers.
Fingers immediately began pointing at the Lakers' coach Mike Brown.
Lakers star Kobe Bryant stepped up to defend his coach and his team from all the haters, saying:
"Now you have Mike Brown telling everybody to be patient. Back then, it was Phil Jackson telling everybody to shut up. The critics are more likely to take runs at him [Brown] than they would at Phil Jackson.
Mike, it would be a little tougher for him to say that. So I’ll say it for him: Everybody shut up. Let us work."
Ha! That's sticking it to the critics!
With the amount of superstars on the Lakers, we don't see this losing streak lasting much longer.
If they tune out the haters and keep doing their thing, we bet they'll pull out a "W" soon!
