Who would have thought a monk would be the world's happiest man!?!?!?
Scientists have hooked up many people to their brain scanning machines but none were happier than Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard.
Neuroscientist Richard Davidson wired up Ricard's skull with 256 sensors at the University of Wisconsin four years ago as part of research on hundreds of advanced practitioners of meditation.
The scan shows that Richard's left prefrontal cortex has a HUGE capacity for excessive activity, much more than his right side, giving him a propensity for happiness versus negativity.
This research called neuroplasicity is in its baby stages and Ricard's brain is key to unlocking more info.
We can't WAIT to see how happy we are!!!
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!! LOLz!
