As we previously mentioned, Penn State's ex-president Graham Spanier was being brought up on charges related to the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal.
Accompanied by his wife for support, he signed some paperwork and had his bail set at $125,000!
He was not required to pay any of that bail though. He did have to be fingerprinted and forfeit his passport.
His defense attorney said he is "not guilty, absolutely."
In regards to the conspiracy claims, she said:
"This wasn't a conspiracy of silence. That is ridiculous."
Spanier's lawyers are apparently blaming Gov. Tom Corbett for leading the charges against Spanier to cover up the fact that he took three years to charge Sandusky while acting as the attorney general when the Sandusky investigation first began.
We guess we'll just have to wait and see once these new trials begin.
