So wait, is marijuana performance enhancing? No?
Well, does that mean that people who play sports in Colorado are not allowed to drink alcohol, or smoke cigarettes? No?
Then we don't see what the big deal is here, NFL. Why are you harshing peoples' perfectly legal mellow?
Denver-based agent Peter Schaffer, how reps a few Broncos, said this:
"I would be advocating with the union for a restructuring of league policies. How does NFL make something that's legal in Colorado illegal? The league has to adapt to the changing social norms."
Agreed. Plus, maybe would help with injury pain and recovery?? Just sayin'!
We do think it's kind of hilarious that a lot of people have been joking about Colorado becoming the most desired destination for weed-smoking pro athletes. Like the University of Colorado and Colorado State would have a recruiting advantage to help bolster their struggling football programs. HA!
Still, everyone needs to get with the times. know what we're sayin'??
