A team of researchers at Duke University have made a small cylinder invisible to microwave radiation.
This is far away from cloaking a person, but still pretty significant.
Now they just need to move onto short-wavelength light, which is standard visible light.
That means just working at much smaller scales than we easily can today.
We think instead of working on metamaterials scientists should just invent magic.
Boom. Problem solved! LOLZ!
