We feel like the entire NHL fan base is on a hidden camera reality show, where the NHL and the NHLPA are just severely messing with us. How can you not come to an agreement before canceling an entire professional sport's season?
Come on, guys, this is getting ridiculous! Apparently the two sides are now about $182 million apart (the additional amount requested in the make-whole proposal) over the course of the five-year deal. During an earlier proposal the NHL had said the sides were $900 million apart.
We say if you've made $4 billion in revenue the last year, $182 million isn't that bad.
Let's stop this madness before the rest of the games are canceled.
