Brooke Burke Is More Than Ready For Her Thyroid Cancer Surgery!
Last month, Brooke Burke took it upon herself to announce that she has Thyroid Cancer, and while the disease is frightening, she's keeping a smile on her face as she heads into surgery this week.
Earlier today, the Dancing With the Stars co-host took to her Facebook to thank her fans for all the support, she wrote:
"I am touched and appreciative to all of you for sharing your positive wishes for my surgery, and for sharing many of your personal thyroid experiences. I really do read your comments and they all mean a lot to me. I’m getting ready this week for my surgery and am planning on a speedy recovery. I’ll be posting some new blogs on ModernMom.com about how I’ve been dealing with it all and how my family has been handling it too. What a crazy time, but I am surrounded with love and support and that really makes a world of difference. Thank you for following me and for all your thoughts and prayers. I feel it, truly, and your energy outweighs my stress! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Miz Burke is definitely a STRONG woman for opening up about the big C, and we have nothing but love for how much of a phenomenal job she's doing with her situation.
We know the GAWRGEOUS mama will get through her thyroidectomy and thyroid surgery with nothing but pure grace.
