Remember when The Situation filed a lawsuit against Devotion Spirits — the makers of a protein-infused vodka — for not following their contract?
Well, they're filing a counter-suit, saying that he was terrible to work with and kept his drug addiction a secret from his employers.
Devotion says he constantly showed up late to events, concealed an alleged drug problem, was seen asking investors for weed, refused to do interviews at events, and constantly demanded extra perks for his friends. Then, in 2011, he locked himself in the bathroom and refused come out. They claim he came out "sniffing" and they found cocaine-like residue later.
That sounds rough, and we don't know the specifics of the contract, but it doesn't really sound like he breached anything at all. We're glad he got help, but in the end he DID do all of his appearances for them as their spokesperson!
No word yet on what Devotion is seeking as far as damages go. Sounds like grasping at straws to us.
