It's the color green! No, really! It is!
Researchers at the University of Essex in England attempted to find out the ways in which color can affect a person’s workout — mostly when it comes to the mood of the subject. So they took 14 men of college age and told them to ride stationary bikes for three sets of five minutes.
This is when they were shown a different color filter on a video of nature – green, black or red.
So, if you're bummed out at the gym, or bummed out about it being winter — get some green filtered glasses, or get some green shoes and stare at them. LOLz!
