Ever since two major victories in 2012, the marijuana legalization campaign will only continue to expand in 2013.
The two victories, legalization in Colorado and Washington, have paved the way for other states to feel confident in passing their own laws.
More states could propose full legalization on ballot measures in 2014 or 2016.
The issue is mostly the younger generations support it, while older generations don't, and with the next presidential election being the best way to get young voters out, maybe 2016 will be the time to strike.
"We know that the younger generation is more supportive and the opposition really comes from the older generation. And as time goes on there's more of the younger generation and less of the older generation."
Ha! So basically we can just wait until all the old folks who still cling to their antiquated beliefs die off!
Hopefully, the federal government makes the decision to allow states to regulate marijuana sales as they see fit.
What's the worst that could happen?? Doritos' sales skyrocketing? LOLz!
