Who doesn't like being part of something exclusive?
Who doesn't like freshly legalized drugs?
They even had a grand opening at 4:20pm. It's called Club 64, and is located in Denver. Some 200 people paid the $29.99 monthly members fee, which gets them access to the bring-your-own-pot club, named after the Colorado constitutional amendment allowing recreational pot use in the state.
Who didn't see this coming? Smoking pot was basically a club when it wasn't legal! Ha!
Here's the real reason why they're doing it, according to a source:
Colorado's marijuana amendment prohibits public consumption, and smoke-free laws also appear to ban much indoor smoking.
The club is intended for people who can't toke at home because of local ordinance or because their landlords threaten eviction.
Makes sense — even if $30 a month seems a little steep. Though, they do provide cheetos and goldfish.
We're not kidding, LOLz!!
