We've all thought about buying those reusable Starbucks travel mugs while standing in line — but they're just so damn expensive!
Well, here's the fix: the company is rolling out a $1 reusable plastic cup at its cafes starting Thursday. They already give customers a dime discount each time they use reusable cups for refills. They're hoping this will increase that.
The new cups, just like the ones you had been bringing from home, will be cleaned with boiling water each time customers bring them in. The plan was to serve 25 percent of all drinks in reusable cups by 2015 — but it hasn't quite gone that way. They're no saying the goal is 5 percent.
We think they'll hit that!
