This may sound CRAY, but the weight loss company Aspire Bariatrics is claiming that sucking food out of your stomach right after you eat is a lot safer than a gastric bypass procedure.
"With Aspiration Therapy, patients 'aspirate' (drain) a portion of their stomach contents after each meal through an endoscopically-implanted tube, reducing the number of calories absorbed by the body. The tube is implanted in the stomach, and leads to a small, low-profile port at the surface of the skin. Aspiration performed about twenty minutes after a meal will remove about a third of the calories consumed. The AspireAssist is used in conjunction with a lifestyle modification program, and requires careful and comprehensive medical monitoring."
We don't know if this is an appetizing way to lose weight, but with results such as eating normally, affordability and a quick recovery, it doesn't seem too bad.
Guess you really can't knock it ’til you try it… or here's a thought, you can just attempt to drop pounds by eating healthy and regular exercise!!
What do U think?!? Would U do something like this?!?
