This year, not a single player was voted into baseball's Hall of Fame!!
This is only the second time this has happened in 40 years!
Because of the "steroid era" baseball was in around the early 2000s it's hard to judge how talented a player really is.
A player needs to get at least 75% of the vote to get elected into the Hall of Fame.
The closest anyone came was Craig Biggio with 68.2%.
MLB stars like Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Sammy Sosa were snuffed, with none of them receiving even 38%!
Baseball Writers' Association of America secretary-treasurer Jack O'Connell said:
"With 53 percent you can get to the White House, but you can't get to Cooperstown. It's the 75 percent that makes it difficult."
We guess the voters have spoken, and they don't want to tarnish the Hall of Fame with steroid abusers!
It's sad but they're the ones who chose to cheat.
Check out the video (above) to hear a bunch of baseball writers' takes on the matter.
