Before we even say anything, we're going to guess. Okay, here we go. Ummmmm. Okay! You guys stopped eating a bunch of the unhealthy food you peddled to your viewers, the same food that gave Paula diabetes. Practiced moderation, maybe?
Let's see if we're right!
Paula has lost 40 pounds after the announcement that she had Type 2 diabetes last year (but actually had it for years). That's a pretty big feat to lose all that weight, regardless if you're making tons of bank off of lying to your viewers. Her family, all together, lost 178 pounds! DAMNZ!
Her husband Michael Groover shed 60 lbs., her oldest son Jamie got rid of an excess 45 lbs., and her youngest son Bobby lost 33-lb.
So their solution? Here's what Paula said:
"Moderation, moderation, moderation. I love feeding people but now I also want to help people eat right. When I first found out I was diabetic, I had no solutions. I couldn’t even help myself, much less somebody else."
WE WERE RIGHT!
We're not sure when people should forgive her for continuing to push non-moderation while she was aware that's exactly what gave her diabetes, but we DO know forgiveness won't come just because they lost weight — even though we're glad they did!
Our trust has to be earned now, Paula! LOLz! Climb that mountain!
