Google has been voted the best place to work for like every year since they've been open.
Google's New York office is rumored to have one of the best cafeterias, with almost too many options.
The food is free and available to employees 24/7.
Sounds like a magical place of wonder!
The chief executive of the NY office said:
"Some people may gain 15 pounds when they start to work here."
So google reengineered their cafeteria to "nudge" their employees toward healthier choices.
They found people tend to load up big on the first thing they see, so they moved the salad bar up front!
They also use color-coded cards to tell people how healthy food is.
Green for low-cal, yellow for small portion and red for pastas and desserts.
Plates and take-out containers were also downsized to encourage smaller portions.
Sounds like a great way to look out for your employees while still keeping them happy! Way to go, Google!
