We previously mentioned that Subway is coming under fire for its footlong subs not always measuring 12 inches.
There are even two men in New Jersey who are suing Subway!
We were wondering what would happen if the flood gates opened and the lawsuits started pouring in… and now it looks like it may be happening after all.
A man in Chicago is now also suing Subway for a short footlong.
The man, Nguyen Buren, allegedly bought a footlong Subway sandwich, measured it and found it was less than 11 inches!
He's looking to get $5 MILLION from Subway and is looking to prove they have a "pattern of fraudulent, deceptive and otherwise improper advertising, sales and marketing practices."
If we were gonna ask for anything, we feel like a free replacement footlong would be justifiable.
We're not so sure about $5,000,000.
Though the bigger this movement gets, the more we as consumers are telling major corporations that yes, we will hold you accountable for the claims you make!
Viva la fast food revolution!
