Chris Culliver is an NFL cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers.
He's also a raging homophobe.
Chris was giving a radio interview at a Super Bowl media event when he was asked if gay players would be welcome on the team.
"I don't do the gay guys, man. I don't do that."
He was then asked if he knew of any gay players on his team, to which he responded:
"No, we don't got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do. Can't be with that sweet stuff. Nah… can't be… in the locker room man. Nah."
Okay, we barely know what any of that means, other than that he doesn't think gay players would be welcome or belong in a locker room.
The 49ers obviously don't share his opinion, with their coach even saying:
"I ask all players to play through their own personality and be who they are. What you ask of a player is to be a great teammate and be a good player. My expectations would be the same. Personally, there’s no discrimination in my heart."
That's great! That's how it should be.
Let's hope some players on the other team can change this bigot's mind.
It's 2013, people. Let's stop all the hate!
