After weeks and weeks of speculation David Beckham has finally officially signed with a team!

He is going to play for Paris Saint-Germain, a soccer team that's been after him for a while.

He only signed a five-month contract with them, that expires on June 30th.

Becks said at a press conference:

"I consider myself to be part of this club in the future – in helping this club to grow… in helping the French league to grow and also helping this club to be one of the biggest powerhouses in football. My wife and children will be staying in London because the children are in school there.

I haven't spoken French in quite a few years. I'm going to have to brush up on it."

Ha! Hopefully he finds some time to take French lessons.

The best part about Becks playing in France??

His salary, rumored to be over a million dollars a month, will be going directly to charity!

He said:

"My salary will go towards a local children's charity in Paris."

That's incredible! He's going to give 5-months of his life to charity!

Way to help those who really need it, Becks!

lol he doesnt need the money with all his commercial megadeals. He just lives and breathes football. English team wasnt an option because he doesnt want to betray his Man utd roots. So PSG were the closest option to London.

His wife and kids are staying in London? Wise. The rich are fleeing France and its taxation.
