Look For Low Sugar To Total Carb Relationships!!

Sugar is a simple carbohydrate which causes blood sugar levels to rise which can translate to increased fat storage. Over time this consistency can lead to type-2 diabetes. Look for foods that have low sugar amounts in relation to the total carbohydrates per serving. Also, look for the words “whole grain” in the ingredient list as this is a sign that the product contains unprocessed, slow digesting carbohydrates.
