Ravens Coach John Harbaugh Used Marvin Gaye Song To Inspire Players

| Filed under: Music MinuteFootballSuper Bowl

If you were one of the hundred million people watching the Super Bowl last Sunday, you probably remember the blackout.

There was a 33-minute stoppage due to many of the lights in the stadium suddenly shutting off.

It was sudden, confusing and really had everyone wondering just how did this actually happen.

To quote Ravens QB Joe Flacco:

"How the hell does this happen?"

Ha! Our thoughts exactly!

While many players hopped on exercise bikes and started stretching to stay warm, Ravens coach John Harbaugh tried to keep his team rallied, saying:

"I'm reminded of that Motown song, 'there ain't no mountain high enough, and there ain't no valley low enough and there's nothin that's gonna keep us from winning this championship.' Not this and not nothin. We're going to win this game no matter how long it takes."

Hmm… we don't remember those being the exact lyrics but we guess we'll give him a pass on this one!

Pretty unique way to inspire your team.

We guess it worked though, cause they're now Super Bowl champs!!
