There's something extra hilarious about celebrities playing themselves on TV shows — and when Matt Damon went on the genius House Of Lies this weekend, it was no exception!
He was posing as a potential new client for the consultant company, wanting to set up a new charity. The only thing was, he didn't care about helping anyone, he just wanted to look better than George Clooney! LOLz!!
He said this:
“Look, you know what I need, right? I mean, I just basically need a cause that’s the size of Clooney’s cause, only with bigger tits. I mean, that guy, he puts on a Hawaiian shirt and they hand him a f****** Oscar, right? I mean, ’cause everybody thinks he’s so deep, you know? ’Cause they see him on TV going ‘Grr, Darfur, bad!’ … F*** him. I wanna be on that podium next year pissing down all over his face.”
This is funny for a whole bunch of reasons, one being that real life Matt Damon helped start the Darfur charity Not On Our Watch with Don Cheadle, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and several others. He also has his hands in a bunch of other charities, even one devoted to clean water — which is also blasted on the show!
Well, the team takes him on and what they come up with is just the best thing: Damon's Children… and it has a fake commercial (above)!
