Ha! Jessica Alba is quite the character!
The Little Fockers star appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show yesterday, and while she was there, she opened up about her recent stroke scare.
"Basically I thought I was having a stroke last week. I really, really thought I was. It was 2.30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb. The whole entire thing went numb. It was dead, I couldn't move it. My whole arm went numb, I got cold sensations in the back of my neck to the front. I can't move my face. I texted my pediatrician. It's my kids' pediatrician, but it's the only person who will answer me at 2.30 in the morning. I texted him and I said, 'I have these symptoms… it's all going downhill!' He was like, 'You're a little young for this…'"
But as soon as Jessica's hubby, Cash Warren, caught wind of the numbness in his wife's hands, headache and heart palpitations, he rushed her to the hospital, where they performed an MRI.
The scan then revealed that all Alba was suffering from was carpal tunnel syndrome.
"I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and elbow. The doctor was like, 'Actresses get carpal tunnel too!' I said, 'I actually have an Internet business and I'm sitting at a computer a lot!'"
So all that madness was caused because the actress types all day!!
Welp, at least she found out what she has because everyone knows how scary some symptoms can be — especially ones that are life threatening!!
