We don't know how a father can forgive a man that murdered his little girl, but if Reeva Steenkamp's daddy can, then more power to him.
It hasn't even been a week since the model and law graduate was laid to rest after Oscar Pistorius allegedly murdered her on Valentine's Day, but since the Olympian with no legs was freed on bail — Reeva's dad, Barry Steenkamp is now stating that he might be able to forgive Oscar one day.
"[Oscar] will have to live with his conscience. If it didn't happen the way he says it did, he must suffer and he will suffer. It does not matter how much money he has and how good his legal team is, he will have to live with his conscience. But if he speaks the truth, I can perhaps someday forgive him."
If for some reason you've been living under a rock for over a week, Pistorius claimed to have shot at who he thought to be an intruder in his home, but instead, he opened fire on his girlfriend who was locked up in their bathroom, and fatally killed her.
We doubt that Pistorius will plead to guilt, even if it is just to Reeva's pops, but just like Barry said, he's definitely gonna have to live with his conscience — especially if she really was pregnant.
Let's see how that works out for him.
