And so are we!
Sean Penn has been involved with the reconstruction of Haiti ever since the HUGE earthquake that hit them back in January 2010, and considering that he's the CEO of aid group J/P Haitian Relief Organization, he can't believe how many "extraordinary" changes have happened.
The organization that Penn runs not only helps heal the victims that suffered the natural disaster, but they also help clean up rubble, help out at community centers and clinics, and also repair damaged homes.
Sean recently joined the former Haitian Prime Minister Michele Pierre-Louis and Army lieutenant general, Ken Keen to go over the progress of Haiti, and even though the independent rebuplic is looking good, there's still some kinks that need to be worked out.
"Today there is reason for hope, but at the same time, there is a lot to be done."
Penn hinted at possibly opening up manufacturing jobs, so people can have work, and he's counting on relief organizations to help out so education plans can be put into place.
However, despite all his efforts, he revealed that all the problems will not be fixed within the next year, but he did say… "It's coming in 15 years, and I hope I see you there."
