Is Paula Deen Really Considering Plastic Surgery?!?

Paula Deen has been battling with Type 2 diabetes for some time now, which led her to get rid of 45 pounds, and now that she dropped her extra baggage, she's considering plastic surgery.

The legendary cook appeared on Entertainment Tonight, where she dabbled about how much weight she lost, and revealed that she is NOT happy with her left over sagging skin.

And because the only way to get rid of droopy dermis is by getting some werk done, she's really thinking about going through with the procedure.

We never saw this coming, but since she's planning on shedding another 15 pounds — she might just need it!!

I wouldn't really consider it as "getting werk done".. loose skin from weight loss is a real hassle.. it can cause issues with clothing fitting properly, it can get caught in zippers, it can cause rashes and sores.. If she wants to have it removed, and she has the funds to do so, power to her ! After losing the weight, she deserves to feel good about herself and her body.

Her food is disgusting, no shock at all that she has Type 2 diabetes. What is shocking is that she continues to have a cooking show, and subjects the public to her poor eating habits.

It is true that excess loose skin after extreme weight loss can cause medical problems in itself. Sometimes excess hanging skin can cause health problems as well, if the skin beneath the folds become macerated. Macerated skin is wet or infected skin prone to bacterial infections or fungal infections that can actually break down the skin tissue.
