On last night's Girls, we found out a little bit more about creator/writer/star Lena Dunham's battle with OCD. She admitted to the struggle earlier in February about how she was obsessed with counting to the number eight.
This is meaningful, as we know a lot of people who suffer from OCD, including friends and family. It's never just 'someone' you've heard of that had it once — it's usually someone not far removed from you at all!
Even YOU could have a form of it!
Anyway, here'd what Lena tweeted after the episode:
Really grateful for all your beautiful reactions to the OCD on tonight's girls. This site helped me as a young lady: ocfoundation.org

It's so great to us that she's being so open about it, knowing she could potentially be helping a lot of people out there. By using her place in pop culture, her pull as a strong woman in entertainment, we hope those who look up to her and are suffering from OCD will use resources like she did to get everything under healthy control!
There IS help out there!!
