Prince Harry is all about doing good these days, and we couldn't be happier to see him do it.
Just the other day we were talking about how he's taken the reigns in Princess Diana's land mine clearing charity — and now we're hearing that he has also mentioned her while talking about another project, which hopes to raise £2.5 million to build the Mamohato Centre, which will provide psychological care and peer mentoring for children and young people with HIV/AIDS.
Can you think of anything else that could ever be more important?
Here's some of what Prince Harry has said:
"Over the past few years our Mamohato program has begun the process of transforming the lives of children living with HIV. I have met some of the children who have attended the Mamohato Camps, and they have so much more confidence and knowledge of how to live healthy lives.
“With the new Mamohato Camp we will be able to reach four times as many children each year. It will also be the centre for training new staff and volunteers for our expansion in southern Africa. The program encourages children to talk to one another, to learn about the disease, and spread word of their learning through a safe support network. Talking about HIV and understanding it isn’t dangerous. Denying it, or not knowing about it, definitely is.”
We'll admit it: doing good in this world is super sexy, and Prince Harry somehow just got hotter than he already was!!
Seriously, this is incredibly inspiring, and we love that he's using his power, fame, and position to really change lives! More photos from the event (below)!!
