We wonder if having a terminal brain cancer diagnosis is made worse or better by having it in the spotlight. On one hand, having people aware could lead to support and strength, but we bet having people ask and want to talk about it constantly is very draining.

Valerie Harper chose to tell the world, and in the end we're really glad she's been open about it. It's a horrible situation, but we can all learn from her and her poise and steadfast optimism — which is leading to her to live each moment fully!

Here's what she said to Samantha Guthrie in the interview (above):

"Incurable is a tough word. I'm not dying until I do. I promise I won't. More than hopeful, I have an intention to live each moment fully. I don't mean this to be Pollyanna—I allow myself the grief."

"I also feel so much better not hiding. It feels awful damn good to be open about it, face it and see what you can do. If you die, you're not a failure. You're just somebody who had cancer. And that's the outcome."

Beautiful!

All we can really say is that we hope every moment you're living to the fullest is as spectacular and filled with adventure as the best moments of your life so far!

Keeping positive is SO inspiring, and we wish you nothing but the best!

I wonder if she could try cannabus, i read on tjis site that injecting it or drinking it could stop the cancer from growing.

What an eloquent lady. May she find peace through her journey. And, as the above poster said, try pure hemp oil or juice the leaves. It will cure a significant amount of people - not everyone but no one knows how many since the governement and the alcohol lobby will allow millions to die for profit.

Lurve her. At least people know so will offer their love and support everywhere.
Along with the hemp thing, check out 'maple syrup protocol.' Shrugs. There's always hope.
Anyway, Valerie, I've flatlined, and I certainly wasn't dead on the other side. XO
