Things are finally looking up for Tiger Woods!!
The top notch golfer just announced that he's dating Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and now that he has his relationship life settled, he's getting his groove back into the game of golf.
Woods played at the Arnold Palmer Invitational for a second consecutive year earlier today, and for the very FIRST time in over two years, he landed in the number one spot, which set him up for the Augusta National for the Masters.
Tiger once dropped down to the number 58 in the world ranking, and because he wasn't gonna let that happen again, he beat out Justin Rose and Rickie Fowler with a 2-under-par 70 to finish at 13-under 275.
After his win, the superstar said:
"I've cleaned up a lot of different things in my game, and I'm very pleased with where it's come along. I've turned some of the weaknesses that I had last year into strengths. I'm really excited about the rest of this year. As I said at the very beginning of the year I was excited because of how the end of last year turned.
My short game, game-wise, came around, I thought my swing was getting better, my short irons got better. Lo and behold, I won a few tournaments this year."
Considering that the number one player, Rory McIlroy didn't take part in the event, it may have been a lot easier for Woods to claim his spot back, but we're thinking that if Rory would have attended the Bay Hill tournament, Tiger would've won anyway.
After all, you can't stop a great player from being AH-MAYZING!
