It's been a stressful time for Lindsay Lohan.

If there's one person that is consistently an inspiration to us — be it mentally, physically, or just through attitude — it's Jillian Michaels!
Not only has she resigned herself to keep in the best shape she can, but she also juggles a full life too. She has two beautiful little kiddos and a loving significant other to share everything with! Luckily, we were able to snag her before she gets too busy with her upcoming motivational speaking tour, which sounds like concentrated Jillian inspiration if we've ever heard it!
We asked her a little bit about why she wanted to do the tour at all, getting involved with the massive amount of people out there that need the help she's offering:
"There is nothing like looking someone in the eye and having a directed and unfiltered dialogue with them to be effective in helping them transform! I found it to be a powerful medium to help people change, and personally it's one of the most rewarding mediums because you get to see the light bulb going off above their heads!
It makes me love what I do! There's nothing like public speaking!"
Doing good makes you feel good! Imagine that! We wish other people would understand that, seeing as there are soooo many people out there that could use help, if only it would be offered to them!
"99% of the time when you see someone physically unhealthy, you'll also find that they're unhappy. Their unhealthiness is simply a symptom of whatever is making them unhappy at an emotional level. Like a coping mechanism or defense mechanism!
I can teach people how to lose weight very quickly, it isn't hard to understand. If anybody can do it, how come 2/3 of our country is over weight? It's because so many people are going to a job every day that they can't stand, or so many people are struggling to find that partner to be in that healthy and loving relationship. It's how we're responding to our world that gets us into our current circumstances, so helping somebody understand why they're overweight in the first place is an integral part to their change!
It's not what you're eating, it's what's eating you!"
There are also some misconceptions about how hard it is to get into shape:
"Connect with your why! The reality is, when you have that 'why', thinking about what it would mean to you to change your life… when you establish it, that's your lasting inspiration and that will push your through all the difficulties to change!
I give the the tools so you can dramatically improve you chance of success. You wouldn't just jump out of plane, you'd do it in a safe and effective way!"
If you noticed, there are a lot of exclamation points in what she has to say — that's because she's very passionate, very positive, and every excited about what she has to say and offer! Sometimes, though, that positivity isn't as easy as it looks:
"I'm not always so positive. I struggle with cynicism a lot, it's something that I work on. But, here's the thing: cynicism and negativity… only a true idealist struggles with that because of how hard it is to tolerate the disappointment in the world and we're protecting ourselves from that. But we're not doing ourselves any favors, because that kind of attitude manifests defeat. The only way to move forward is to allow hope to come back into your life. It requires courage and bravery, because there will be disappointments. You need to learn from the mistakes and that the results will come back to you."
Amazing! It's so true!
Still, being positive only gets you so far. Sometimes even with the best of intentions it's tough to go to the gym constantly! Even Jillian hates the gym sometimes, so she finds ways to stay healthy by doing the things she loves:
"I love free running and MMA. Gosh, but there are days when it's just like UGH you work from 8-8 and you have kids and you're up at 6 and there are just days where you can't make that happen. On those days you just watch your diet and you find ways to make it balance.
Ultimately the real meat of the show is about this kind of stuff. You need to appreciate the how and why you've created your current circumstance, and then I give you the tools to turn it around."
We bet there are a lot of people out there in the world that are about to be changed by your tour! At the end of the day, we hope you're sleeping like a baby with all this help you're giving out, because it's such a wonderful way to help others and use your amazing skills to better those around out!
Good luck with everything, Jillian, and thanks!!
