The second episode of Dancing with the Stars kicked off on Monday, which was followed by elimination last night, and just when we thought we knew who was gonna go home — the show took a twisting turn!
Four couples have been at the bottom for the past two weeks, which include: D.L Hughley and Cheryl Burke, Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko, Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold, and Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani.
Lisa and Gleb and Victor and Lindsay were unfortunately given the title of the two WORST duos on the dance floor, but just when one pair was getting ready to hang their heads low 'cuz they lost, host Tom Bergeron called Dorothy Hamill and her partner Tristan MacManus onto the stage.
Considering that Dorothy and Tristan were NOT at the bottom, everyone was really confused about what was going on until Hamill revealed:
"I've taken the advice of my spine surgeon and I need to withdraw from the competition. I have an injury that could be irreparable. It would be completely unfair for me to stay in this and have any of these people go home. I wish that I could give it my all but I can't. It's been wonderful ride."
Tom then announced:
"All the 11 remaining couples will be back in the ballroom."
Even though we're excited that the bottom couples are getting another chance, we're sad to hear about Dorothy's condition. We truly hope that it's not irreparable because that would definitely be heartbreaking.
Hang in there girl!!
