We got Jillian Michaels to chat it up with us about health, life, and happiness when we were interviewing her about her upcoming inspirational speaking tour, and we managed to squeeze out 4 amazeballs quick fitness tips from her!
Here they are:
1. Work at 85% of your max heart rate. Intensity is key for burning calories.
2. Train in the most functional way by using body weights and free weights, because you'll engage more muscle groups, which will burn more calories.
3. Work in high-intensity cardio intervals into whatever circuits you do.
4. Find something you love to do, and do more of it!
Hell yes to the do what you love one!!
We're all about fitness, but it's only appealing when you love what you're doing! Otherwise, it's super easy to skip and not care about!!
