While Jane Fonda thinks that staying active is the most important part of aging, she admitted that she's NOT afraid of dying!
On an episode of Oprah Winfrey's Oprah's Next Chapter, the 75-year-old Klute actress reveals that although she's dealt with having breast cancer back in 2010, she's realizing that her life is still the same from when she had cancer to now.
Miz Fonda said:
"[It] was a good test, because I always said I'm not afraid of dying. And I wasn't. I mean, I felt, god, I've just joined a family of millions of women who have gone through this. And how interesting. What a journey this is going to be.
[I thought], you know, maybe I'll make it and maybe I won't. I didn't get scared. I hope I don't die. But I'm not scared of dying."
The star is currently living life cancer-free, but considering that she had the scary disease a few years ago, we can completely understand why her outlook on life is so different.
Guess when you have faced death's ugly face once, then actually going through it may not be as scary. At least if you're Jane.
You go girl!!
