Evan Rachel Wood Uses Meditation And Dancing To Stay Healthy!

Evan Rachel Wood wants to stay in a complete state of healthiness, including both her body AND mind!

So, the smart-as-a-whip actress took up two different practices to achieve that goal — she meditates to keep her mind sharp, and she dances to keep that booty tight! LOLz!

But guess what? She didn't start this on a whim a few months ago! NOPE!

She's been meditating since she was TWELVE. That's thirteen years ago! Here's what she said:

“I began meditating when I was 12. In my industry it’s easy to get caught up in the anxiety of it all, so I take time to sit and breathe by the ocean – there’s something so calming about that, it puts everything into perspective. I started doing yoga too, I totally get why everyone’s in love with it now. It’s pretty great.”

Yoga is fab and all, but it's not nearly as fun as dancing! She continued:

“Dancing is the most fun workout. It’s another way for me to clear my head – I’m not thinking about anything else, just getting out some energy. If you’ve seen me dance I flip my head around, jump and stomp a lot. LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Dance Yrself Clean’ is a great song to rock out to.”

Yeah it is!

And just because she mentioned LCD Soundsystem, our full-blown crush on her is complete! Ha!
