Patty Campbell is the mother of Krystle Campbell, the 29-year-old woman who was killed in Monday's Boston Marathon explosions. She just gave one of the most hard to listen to emotional statements to the press.
Everything that happened on Monday makes us so sick to our stomachs, and we are so sorry for the loss many have had to go through.
Here is some of what she said:
"We are heartbroken at the death of our daughter, Krystle Marie. She was a wonderful person, and everybody that knew her loved her… she had a heart of gold. She was always smiling, friendly. You couldn't ask for a better daughter. I can't believe this is happening. She was such a hard worker in everything she did. This doesn't make any sense.
"She was the best."
Patty said all of this through tears, her voice breaking.
Ugh. We can't believe this has happened to anyone, let alone such good and decent people. We've heard who the second and third victim are as well, and all of this makes no sense what-so-ever. Nobody injured or killed deserved this.
