Adrianne Haslet isn't afraid of ANYTHING!
Having her left foot and part of her leg lost in the Boston Bombing was awful, yeah, but why would something like that hold her back??
At 32, Adrianne is a wonderful dancer — notice how we said "is" instead of "was" — and she plans on proving how little of a setback those two terrorist cowards made for her. She didn't lose her life and that's what matters, so she'll be going on Dancing With The Stars to prove how unafraid she really is!
Details of her guest appearance haven't been revealed, but Adrianne says she's honored to do it and will start training as soon as humanly possible when the doctors give her a go-ahead!
The only thing we DO know is that she'll be on the show NEXT WEEK! Here's what Tom Bergeron said:
'We were all very moved by her inspirational outlook. We’ll tell you how we hope to be part of her recovery'.
She'll be partnered up with Derek Hough, who is her personal favorite! Here's what he said:
'It’s hard for anyone to really quite understand what she must be going through and what she’s going to go through with rehab and getting her balance back. But if she has the determination and she has the passion — and it sounds like she does — she’s going to run that marathon and she’s going to be dancing again. It’s not going to slow her down.'
Honestly, we have no idea how much of a badass you have to be to lose a foot in a terrorist attack and then TWO WEEKS LATER straight up go on Dancing With The Stars!!
Good luck, Adrianne!
