Former New York Giants linebacker, Michael Boley had been under investigation after he allegedly abused his son in February 2011, who was only 5 years old then.
The 30-year-old was arrested February 2013, but after he managed to get a plea deal with prosecutors, he was still booked on February 8, but was later let go.
Boley was supposed to go to court in February, but before the hearing even happened, he pleaded guilty to child abuse, which was allegedly physical and not sexual, and was ordered to take part in a pre-trial diversion program that would help drop the charges when he completed his arrangement.
Michael also had to turn himself into the cops, which is cray because all this happened a few days after he was unexpectedly cut from the Giants.
The football star is currently a free agent, looking for a job and is more than ready to follow through with his plea deal.
No word on what Boley is thinking has been heard, but we hope he feels really bad about himself!!
Ch-ch-check out Michael's mugshot (above)!
