Now this is messy!
Two teenagers, Nicolas Cendoya, 19 and Kyndall Jack, 18 got lost while hiking in Trabuco Canyon, CA last month, and once the hikers were finally able to call 911 from Holy Jim Canyon in Orange County on Easter Sunday… the cops came to their rescue, but unfortunately, when police searched Cendoya's car, authorities found 497 milligrams of meth.
When Nicolas and Kyndall were found, the 19-year-old was dehydrated and delirious and the 18-year-old was hypothermic and confused.
The search cost taxpayers around $160,000 and 1,900 man-hours, and the teenagers admitted that they remembered practically nothing from what happened to them.
Orange County Supervisor, Todd Spitzer said:
"I am incredibly perplexed. There are so many unanswered questions surrounding this situation."
There's conflicting reports on as to how many days Cendoya and Jack were lost, but if Nicolas is convicted of his meth charge, he's looking at facing up to three years in the BIG HOUSE.
Damn, that's a bummer!
