It's almost been three months since Oscar Pistorius allegedly murdered his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, and while the paralympian awaits trial, the former lead investigator, Hilton Botha believes that Pistorius intentionally murdered the late model.
During a recent interview, Botha said:
“There is no way anything else could have happened. The only place there could have been entrance was the open bathroom window, and we did everything we could to see if anyone went through it, and it was impossible. So I thought it was an open-and-closed case. He shot her? That’s it.”
The detective got booted from the case because of assault charges, and considering that he was replaced by a more senior detective, Hilton thinks it's funny that the court believes that he won't testify against Pistorius.
“They thought I’m not going to testify, and if I don’t testify, then everything that happened on the scene would be hearsay. They are going to subpoena me, and I’m going to testify. It was just them in the house and according to the security registers she had been staying there for two to three days. So, he had to be used to her by that time? There was no forced entry."
Hilton has not entered a plea in the case, so we're thinking he's gonna do everything he can to make sure the Olympian with no legs gets what's coming to him.
Pistorius is set to go back to court June 4 for the premeditated murder of Steenkamp.
