Talk about the understatement of the century!!

We can all pretty much agree that Angelina Jolie is extremely brave for sharing the news of her double mastectomy with the world. But Zoe Saldana took it one step further when she said she thinks she's "the ultimate badass!"

We couldn't agree more!

The lovely actress was walking the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming film Star Trek Into Darkness when she said Angelina's announcement is very important and inspiring for women who could be facing the same risks!

Director J.J. Abrams also weighed in on the news, and said the most important thing was that the Angie had people talking about an uncomfortable but important issue:

"What's wonderful about what she's done is it's part of a conversation now."

We're so happy to see all of the love and support being sent towards Angelina in the past couple of days, especially coming from a few trekkies! LOLz!

Ch-ch-check out the first couple of minutes of the video (above) to see what Chris Pine and Fran Drescher have to say about her big announcement!

Just what makes Angelina Jolie so special? She is only the 7th, 8th or more celebrity who has undergone this exact surgery. Why does she deserve all this praise and hoopla and the "people" that she is supposedly going to help (us ordinary people) could not possibly have the surgery or the reconstruction because it is NOT covered on insurance. It's great that she has the money and good for her BUT she is NO BETTER than Kara Gioguardi, Christina Applegate on and on.

Is anyone else concerned with the implications of Angelina Jolie's highly publicized double mastectomy? I get that this was a personal decision and that this is something highly weighted on individual circumstance but… let me get this straight. Am I supposed to believe that Western Medicine (run by greedy pharmaceutical companies without morals) will act in my best interests? You’re telling me that they will honestly inform me as to the likelihood that I will get cancer when they would obviously only profit from my fear and mutilation? In addition to that I am also supposed to accept that my potential for cancer solely depends on the genes I've inherited and that it has nothing to do with diet, lifestyle choices and the poisons in our environment. I am disturbed to see that this is what preventive medicine has boiled down to. There is a much bigger problem that needs to be addressed here and it’s not genes so spread your celebrity splashed propaganda elsewhere. In the meantime I’ll be busy avoiding our poisoned gmo food, our poisoned fluoridated water and maybe I’ll even buy some of that non cancer causing crystal deodorant to keep my girls healthy… I will not be blindly cutting them off because someone in a white coat wants a Ferrari to drive his mid life crisis around in.
