Hilary Duff wasn't like a lot of celebrity moms that bend over backwards to get that extra baby weight off as fast as possible — and we're glad she didn't!
While it's certainly up to the individual and where they feel most comfortable in their own skin, we wish it wouldn't be such a dire thing for celebs to immediately bounce back to where they were. It seems like they might miss out on the best early moments because they're stuck in the gym! It's even worse if they're pressured by their industry and job to not relax a little after PUSHING A HUMAN OUT OF THEIR OWN BODIES!
Hilary, we think, did it the classiest way possible: she took a year to bounce back, and did it at a pace where she didn't have to miss out on ANYTHING that Luca was doing! Here's what she said:
‘I’d rather be happy than bitter because I can’t eat anything good! It takes most women a year to get back into shape, but not celebrities. I guess I’m just normal! My focus was on my son. I didn’t want to spend two hours in the gym every day.’
This is SUCH a fabulous mindset!
It's based around a healthy moderation and steady goal instead of a panicked rush! We admire that!
