Following her return, the artist took a moment to thank everyone for their "prayers, love, and support" -- and especially the North Bergen Police Department for bringing her home safe.
Sharing a picture alongside the NYPD, Miz Quigley penned:
Still high off her standing ovation while accepting a Peabody Award on the eight-month anniversary of her bone marrow transplant, Robin Roberts has just announced that she's releasing a memoir next year!
And we aren't talking at the END of next year… we're talking SPRING 2014!
It's true! She has sealed a deal with Grand Central Publishing to release a memoir in spring 2014, and you bet your asses she'll be talking about how it feels to have gone through the ridiculous amounts of health trouble she's been through — and to remain victorious!
"I am humbled that many have an interest, and draw strength from my on-going journey. [I am] grateful for the prayers and well wishes of so many people."
As it turns out, beating both breast cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome AND doing it with poise and professionalism makes you kind of an inspirational figure!
We're ready to read it, that's for sure! Congrats, Robin!
