The NFL commish finally spoke today to address the league's poor handling of each scandal, saying:

UGH! We hate stories like these!
Cullen Finnerty was a former star college quarterback who just wanted to take a fishing trip, but was instead found dead in northern Michigan two days after he went missing from the relaxing outing.
"The Grand Valley community is saddened to learn of the death of former Laker quarterback Cullen Finnerty."
After he left to go fishing, he hadn't been heard from since. The discovery of a small pontoon boat he had been using in Bray Creek, near the Baldwin River, was the only lead anyone had.
No foul play is suspected.
After his graduation in 2006, Cullen joined the Ravens, but never got into a regular season game. The Broncos took him afterwards, briefly. He was married with two young children.
So sad. We hope others can learn to never go alone from this, or at least to check in with others regularly. Such and awful waste of life!
