This weekend, Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance since her double mastectomy with her man Brad Pitt and her kiddies at the London premiere of World War Z!
In addition to turning heads and dropping jaws, the actress spoke out about her recovery and said she was humbled by all of the support she was getting and was glad her announcement had people talking about important health issues:
"I've been very happy just to see the discussion about women's health expanded, and that means the world to me. And after losing my mom to these issues, I am very grateful for it. And I've been very moved by the support of people."
While the actress has displayed tons of courage and strength during her recovery, she says she couldn't have done it without Brad's support:
"He's been extraordinary. He's such a wonderful man and a wonderful father, and I'm very, very lucky."
Brad also had some kind words, saying:
"That's who I fell in love with from the very beginning. The person that you see now is the person that I've always known, and she's heroic and incredibly strong and will attack any problem head-on and make it work."
Awwww! It certainly showed too, as he could barely keep his eyes (and lips) off of Angelina as they made their way down the red carpet together!
It's been absolutely amazing to watch these two tackle this obstacle together and see the love and support they have for each other, and we're SOO happy to see Angie back in action and looking better than ever!
