Everyone talks about it, because it's true: Christina Hendricks has one of the curvier figures in Hollywood, and we are OBSESSED WITH IT!
Not only is she absolutely healthy, but she owns that shizz too — and we hope younger generations are watching!
She recently did an interview with Women's Health Magazine UK, and fielded a lot of questions about her life! Here are a few about her body:
Is it hard being curvaceous in Hollywood where so many of the actresses are tiny?
“I’ve been in this business for years and I’ve never had a problem getting work. This role (Mad Men), though, has been fun because of the beautiful costumes, which have highlighted my figure. I’ve gotten a lot of positive attention for it, which is [great] because as women we’re always wondering what people think of us, how people respond to us and how we feel at the end of the day.”
What's your exercise regime?
“I’ve treated myself recently to working out with a trainer, which is fun because my husband and I have been doing it together to try to encourage each other. We go three times a week, but it’s just a light cardio workout and light weight training because women in the ’60s didn’t have definition. A sculpted 2010 body doesn’t look right in the 1960s.”
That's healthy AND smart!!
We're incredibly happy that Hollywood has been accepting of Christina, especially because of her talent. Mad Men would NOT be the same without her!
Plus, it really does seem like she'll be a positive influence on future generations of actresses!
