NYC Lady Wants Kickball BANNED Because It's 'WORSE' Than Gangs And Drugs!

LOLz! What??

We guess the good thing to come from a story like this is that we now know where the biggest buzzkill in the country is located! Ha!

Karen Gehres lives on the Lower East Side, and has started a petition to get KICKBALL banned. The reasons are hilarious. Here's what she said:

"I have lived in the neighborhood when there were gangs running around, heroin. But this is one of the most annoying, obnoxious things."

At least when people are doing heroin they have the decency to be quiet about it! We hear ya, lady!

The leagues in her crosshairs are the Notwork Network Society and NYC Social Sports Club, and they play their games at an elementary school near Gehres apartment complex on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights until approximately 9:15 p.m.

Sometimes though, they play PAST TEN. That's unacceptable! She has now collected signatures from "about 40" people, and will present the issue at a community board meeting this week.

Honestly, a healthy community activity like this is in no danger of some grumpy lady. The benefits FAR outweigh the delightful noise of happiness and cheering!

Hardcore kickballers probably do get a little fratty and annoying from time to time — competition brings it out — but they're staying active in world where the TV and heart disease usually rules.

Maybe this lady should just go watch the games, instead of grumbling at home! Maybe she should… GASP! … join up!
