The Mission Impossible actor gave a speech about some of the positive impact the retail chain has made, including providing healthy food at lower prices and helping end hunger in America:
"A great many people in America — and this is very hard to believe – they have little food to eat. They do not have enough food to begin with in this country. And that's why Wal-Mart has made a $2 billion commitment over 5 years to help end hunger in America."
Some have accused Wal-Mart of contributing to the hunger by paying their employees too little, driving some of them to seek public assistance programs - but Tom says the company is a "role model" when it comes to all of the charity work they have done.

An inside source told E! News that Lochte is "not doing well" amid the international controversy that painted him as a partying, vandalizing, entitled liar -- and forced him to endure a rather intense scolding from Matt Lauer (and no one wants to deal with that).
