He is dead on. Why must we pay for continual wars and not take care of our own like every other major industrial nation on earth does?

Re: tango – The healthcare system in the UK is a mess. Unless you have personal experience with it, and YES, I do, then shut up.
    .
The homo won't approve a post I wrote about he and Brown being freeloading, worthless pieces of shit, reminding them that nothing in life is free and we already have enough leeches sucking entitlement programs dry. If you want something, fucking earn it instead of thinking it should be handed to you. As for Brown, he's mentally defective.

As it is now, no one can be turned away from needed medical treatment
so in fact we do have FREE health care
We also have FREE education, some use it and end up getting good jobs, some don't
and make $7.50 an hour, and than blame everyone else

Re: Pansy Hunter – i do have experience since i live in the uk so dont tell me to shut up cuz i think differently to u. the uk has had its ups and downs with healthcare like giving free boobjobs and what not but overall it really isnt as bad as the media tries to make out

  14. 14

And how is the "free" healthcare going to be paid for???? The natioal deficit is already huge. MORE taxes???? "Free" healthcare has to be paid for somehow - is HE going to pitch in?

  15. 15

Re: tango – NOTHING IS FREE!!!! They "pay" for it in their HIGH TAXES!!!! Taxes in the UK are 41%! Not like the Dr & Nurses and staff work free, or the medicine is free. It gets paid in some way!!!!

  16. 16

Re: Dixie Dee – NO!!!!!! Al this stuff you call "free" is PAID FOR IN TAXES!!!!!!! How stupid are you people???!!!!!

  17. hairball says – reply to this

    17

There is no such thing as free. We will pay dearly for health care..taxes and more taxes.
Who the hell does he think will pay the hospitals, doctors, nurses? The big fucking government? Where do they get their money? Maybe the entertainers who make
zillions of dollars would be willing to fund free health care for all. People are so fucking stupid.

  18. 18

Re: kabuki girl – It seems like everyone today wants "free" handouts. & you're right NOTHING is "free"! Take the "Obama phone" for example. That gets paid for by every single paying cell phone customer in the US. It is a nice little fee the FCC sticks on all of our bills to pay for the program.

I stood behind this black lady with four children. She had nice new nails and tons of bling. Anyways she paid her groceries with food stamps. Going outside she loaded them onto her beautiful Escalade. Yep she's getting everything for free while I work my ass of and pay my taxes. Look whats happening to Greece and France. Eventually cradle to grave fails. Get ready everyone.

  20. 20

his girlfriends certainly could do with free healthcare after he's finished injuring them! maybe thats what he means?

  21. 21

Re: kabuki girl – Poor people with no job dont pay taxes so you the idiot! they get it for free and isnt this about poor people who need free healthcare?

    22

Re: Be-Atch – Wrong. Universal Health Care isn't free in Commonwealth countries. It's paid for either by a very reasonable monthly fee for every tax earning family or earner of majority, or covered by country, state or provincial taxation. All of the healthy people's regular paid premiums cover the few sick when they need it. Free is a misnomer. Universal Health Care is NOT mandated corporate health care, and its rates are a fraction of the latter.

  23. 23

Re: Lasqueesha – Actually, he said EVERYONE in America needs FREE health care, he didn't say the poor people in America needs healthcare. Who's the idiot, again?

Re: Pansy Hunter – Its not as bad as its made out to be. Im from the UK and never had a problem. Theres just a lot of people in the UK and an unfortunately large number who dont contribue and over use.
Its not free though its publicly paid for through taxes and national insurance payments taken similarly to tax.

  25. 25

The US should have a better healthcare system. I wouldn't replicate the UK exactly, but people shouldn't have to pay hundred to thousands of dollars on their health. The one benefit we do have here is that when we go to the hospital they run every test possible because they know you will be footing the bill. This girl I know in the UK has been to the ER at least 4 times in the past month and they just seem to pick something that may be wrong with her and treat it. They thought it was appendicitis and unlike here where they would run tests and operate ASAP, they gave her medication and she just stayed in the hospital a few days. So the US would need to figure out our own system. I know France has free healthcare and they have hospitals ranked right up there with the US. We would definitely have to figure out a way to have everything covered but still have the same diligence we have now. It won't happen for a while though because you have one whole party who is against free healthcare.

  26. 26

Re: Lady_Says – It's free in the sense that everyone pays into it equally tho. Which is much better than what we have here in the States. If I didn't have the insurance I have, yesterday medication for a migraine would've cost me $1500! It's crazy.

  27. 27

Oh, good. Chris Brown has weighed in on the health care debate. Problem solved.

Re: misscheriamor – Right. Every able bodied taxpayer in France, or Commonwealth countries, Sweden, Norway, Finland etc paying in at lower rates is more of a large co-operative. Everyone assumes the care for everyone else. There is no insurance middle man.

  29. 29

I can't afford any more of your liberal "free" things. Nothing is free morons, it comes out of our paychecks in the form of TAXES! That is, those of us who work and make paychecks so you low lives can sit back and not do shit.

  30. 30

    awwww, thanks Chris Brown.

it's free health care system in Norway and it works just fine :) of course we pay more taxes (among the highest in the world). If you have a high salary, you get higher taxes. So that the people which are not "lucky" can get free health care, without thinking of money. It's really important to think about others too.

Because of that, we also have free education :) and that's just brilliant!!

  32. 32

THat's because he is black and they always want something without working for it

Re: Jessicalc – REally Jessica? I did not know that. The battery died on my old cell (heck maybe the phone itself, it is an older Razorphone). Maybe I will just get one of those prepaid phones if I can make calls out of the US, since I use my phone so seldom.

Nothing is free. This will be paid for in taxes that may be the tipping point for many families and businesses. Much like the bursting of the housing bubble this will put us in ANOTHER downward economy spiral.

Small business will be forced to make a choice of being able to cover their employees health costs or closing their doors. The ripple effect of this "Free" health care will be ginormous.

And if something is "Free" but severely compromised in quality is that a step up?

A government run system would be WAY better than the gouging that goes on with private industry….studies have proven this. Wake up, America…yer letting big business rip you off …..

@horndog you are obviously ignorant and racist too and @kylie does the story make things more solid by bringing up that the lady is black? do white people not take advantage of welfare? because you seem to be implying that it is just a "black lady with 4 kids" thing. people of all races try to take advantage. seriously the two of you sound ignorant. I cant stand that shit. the whole race does not become responsible for the 1-5 black people you know of who did something wrong. we are our own individuals just like any other race. we are not responsible for the next person just like everybody else.

lol, you Americans and your health care debate. When will you catch up with the rest of the developed world?
Yes, I realise I pay for my 'free' healthcare in Australia through taxes, same as I pay for maintanence of the roads, education facilities etc. But it is so worth it. Being able to go to the doctors for free when otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it is a great security to have.

  39. 39

Good point Chris Brown, now you are posting a sensible tweet…anyhow, here in the philippines we have free health care for the less fortunate, people who don't have a job when admitted to the hospital gets a free health care, all they have to do is to go to health care government agencies and submit some doc..our government has the heart to pay the hospital bills as much as 100k and Up. as long as the patient is admitted to a govt hospitals. yes we are dubbed as a third world country but our government is smart enough to help people who are in need.

You should have free health care too. We have it here where I live, although the help is often better in the private sector. What can you do, life isn't perfect.
