Priorities, guys, priorities!
With so much wrong in the nation and the world, why the hell is anyone still focused on doing pointless things like keeping marijuana criminalized (not every state is like this) and banning paraphernalia? Are they really going to use tax-payer money to enforce this??
Give us a break!
Gov. Rick Scott seems to think it's a good idea to legally ban bongs! Specifically, the ban makes it "unlawful for a person to knowingly and willfully sell or offer for sale at retail any drug paraphernalia… other than a pipe that is primarily made of briar, meerschaum, clay or corn cob."
In other words, if someone walks into your shop and starts talking about drugs at all, you can't sell them a bong. You can't sell a bong TO ANYONE at all unless at least 75 percent of your revenue comes from tobacco products!
So, starting July 1, if anyone is caught breaking this new lameballs law, they will be charged with a first-degree misdemeanor; any subsequent violation will result in a third-degree felony charge, in which they lose the right to vote!
Doesn't anyone have anything more important to do??
Here's what one employee said:
"If you come in referencing illegal substances, then we wouldn't sell it to you. But that's how we have always operated."
So really time and money is being spent on enforcing something that just doesn't happen anyways. Good plan!
Oh, and did we mention that 70% of Floridians are all for new progressive laws on weed? We're talking legalization and everything!
It's time to start listening to the people!
